Sharing Common Ground
“Sankofa” is an Africa word meaning learn from the past and pass on the lessons for the future. To ensure we find common ground with or African brothers and sisters, SHARING COMMON GROUND believes Africanisms should be integrated into our advocacy as using it demonstrates what Africans were saying hundreds of years ago reflects the advocacy for learning where we came from, where we are today as a society and how we can move forward by learning from the past.
