Sharing Common Ground
Reconstruction Bench T-Shirt
Reconstruction Bench T-Shirt
Reconstruction Bench sits by the door of the Welcome Center for the Reconstruction Era National Historical Park. In its Gullah art form, the bench is a reminder that we are sitting on a rich history that has yet to be told in a complete and truthful manner. The shirt is not only a reminder of the hidden history we’ve been sitting on far too long but is a visual Gullah interpretation, created by Ginger Wareham of Pickle Juice Productions. Buy and wear the shirt!
Buy and wear a T-shirt to help us educate the public about the unknown heroes, stories, and places of the misunderstood Reconstruction Era. Net proceeds will be used to fund “The Second Founding of America”
While SHARING COMMON GROUND: Promises Unfulfilled but Not Forgotten is a book, The “Second Founding of America’s” SHARING COMMON GROUND is an advocacy group promoting the teaching of Reconstruction throughout the United States.
As a way to engage with us, we have promotional items and collectibles to help let you spread the word.
